Aligner Care
Caring for your Invisalign clear aligners is easy and intuitive. An important aspect of aligner care is making sure you remove them when eating or drinking anything besides water. Rinse them and place them in the carrying case to keep them safe from damage, and brush or rinse your mouth before putting them back in to prevent the buildup of food particles on your teeth and your aligners.
You’ll also need to clean your aligners every night with a soft-bristled toothbrush and a fragrance-free, clean-rinsing soap. Do not use hot water, as this can warp and damage your aligners. These are the basics of aligner care, but Dr. Kim will give you detailed instructions after you’re approved for treatment.
